Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pale, pale, almost clear in the glass. Fruit and flowers abound on the nose and palate of this rosé, making it seem less dry than the 2 grams of sugar per Liter would suggest. It has a soft mouthfeel but the alcohol gives the finish legs. Try it with salads highlighted with strawberries or other fruits. Would also make a fun sipper on its own. At this price you can have a lot of fun with it! Tasted May 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Very pale peach colour, soft on the nose with suggestions of stone fruit, tropical fruit, and citrus. Extra dry with balanced acidity, soft and easy-drinking. Light-bodied with gentle flavours of peach and lemon. Easy to enjoy on its own, but also a welcomed accompaniment to shellfish, white fish, chicken, and many vegetarian dishes, especially during the summer. Great value rose.
Lonrgeril, Gris de Garille is produced from mostly Grenache wine grapes from the family-owned estate in Saint Chinian. This is a light-coloured rosé, old gold pink in colour and the reason for "Gris de Garille" name. Dry, medium-bodied, with a lovely floral nose, light herb, ripe cherry, red berries and zesty soft orange flavours on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
