Listel Grain de Gris is a breezy, sun-drenched rosé from the sun-baked Mediterranean coast of the Languedoc, where Cinsault, Grenache, and Merlot come together in a blend that has been charming French picnic tables and café terraces since the brand was established in 1883. The wine is pale rosewood pink with a lively, aromatic nose of white peach, tangerine zest, crushed raspberries, and a delicate floral thread of acacia blossom that floats through the whole bouquet. On the palate it is light-bodied, bone dry, and refreshingly crisp, with a soft, easy texture, a gentle mineral undercurrent, and a clean, fruit-forward finish. Serve it well chilled and enjoy through 2028. One of France's most enduring and fascinating wine stories, Listel was born in 1883 when the Salins du Midi, a salt-producing company that owned vast expanses of sandy coastal land in the Camargue, discovered that growing vines in sand and salt created something extraordinary. The first vines were planted on a parcel called "Isles de Stel," which gave the brand its iconic name, and today Listel remains the most popular rosé brand in all of France.

Rosé food pairings: charcuterie and olive platter with crusty baguette, grilled branzino with lemon and capers, fresh goat cheese and heirloom tomato salad with basil.
