Lusciously big pineapple and tropical fruit notes with a round, viscous mouth-filling texture and a toasty vanilla-caramel finish. Great price for big Chardonnay.

Reviews and Ratings

Mark Cochrane Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A really nice medium yellow Chardonnay from the Santa Lucia Highlands of Monterey County in California. Aromas of caramel, melon and tropical fruits are crisp and refreshing. A blend of 50% american and french oak gives this chardonnay some nice crisp fruit flavours with a hint of caramel in the background. It has a smooth medium bodied finish of tropical fruits. This wine pairs well with honey garlic chicken.
The aromatics of this chardonnay just jump out of the glass with fresh green apple, tropical and pineapple fruit leading the way along with brown baking spices and an underpinning of oak. Rich and medium bodied in the mouth, the wine shows plenty of bright and sunny pineapple, mango, apple and citrus flavors, along with a tang of caramel.
