Pale golden in colour with a nice aroma of lemon and wet stone. Some minerality continues on the palate with a long soft stone fruit finish.

Legado

De Martino Legado Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Casablanca Valley, Chile

If you like your Sauvignon Blanc crisp and tart then this pale yellow almost clear wine is for you. It has an almost New Zealand like aroma of canned pea and vegetal with a real tart citrus flavour of grapefruit pith.

Radio Boka Tempranillo 2013

Valencia D.O., Spain

A dark red almost opaque Tempranillo from Spain has a distinctive aroma of black cherry, spice and cedar. The black cherry flavour continues on the palate and is balanced with the wines acidity for a smooth medium cherry finish.

Grayson Cellars Zinfandel 2013

California, United States

Mark Cochrane scored this wine: 90/100

It's not from a specific region in California but this small lot Zinfandel has a richness and full bodied taste that rivals some higher end Zins. Deep dark red in colour with aromas of spice, dark currant fruit and some cedar. Flavours of raspberry jam, blackberry and some vanilla with a medium to long jammy finish. Excellent choice for BBQ beef.

Mauro Chardonnay 2013

Puglia Igt, Italy

You don't get many Chardonnay's from Puglia Italy so I was intrigued by this 2014 Chardonnay to see how it stands up to similar varietals. It has a pale yellow colour with a slight green tinge and aromas of citrus, pear and apple. A slight effervescence on the palate with some golden yellow apple and pineapple flavours. It's crisp and refreshing with minimal oak and a medium citrus finish. The obvious choice here is to pair this Chardonnay with seafood
