Leyda Lot 4 2015 Sauvignon Blanc is produced from Sancerre clone 317 growing in Lot 4. Lovely and silky on the palate with bright grapefruit, fine herb, spice and subtle vanilla flavours from partial barrel fermentation of the grapes. Very elegant and sophisticated.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: salads, grilled calamari, quiches, brunch fare.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautifully balanced Sauvignon Blanc from a cool, slow ripening area in Chile with lovely ocean influence. Aromas of white florals, fresh lemon, pithy grapefruit, and some fresh green herbal notes. Medium bodied on the palate, with a creamy texture, vibrant acidity, and fresh, ripe citrus notes. Grassy and herbal hints along with a mineral hint on the finish. Enjoy with fresh shellfish.
