Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromatic and flavourful with a palate that shows cherry, sous-bois, mocha and spicy licorice- a delicious combination! Pair with roast duck, lamb chops, planked salmon.
Tasted Jan. 2019
Leeuwenkuil 2016 is produced from 100% Grenache Noir from he Swartland Wine Region in South Africa. On the nose, it is green, herbal with dark berry fruits with riper red cherry, red and blackberry notes, pepper spice and toasty oak on the palate with a lingering fresh red cherry finish. Great acidity for food, pair it with grilled game sausages. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
