From the Côtes Catalanes, a zesty and robust Grenache, Carignan and Syrah red wine blend. Love the fresh dark berry, ripe plum, wild herb sweet spice flavours on the palate with a lingering soft smoky finish. So balanced and so good. Great now. Pair with a roast of pork.

Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

60/20/20 blend of Grenache, Carignan, and Syrah. Juicy and baked fruits, namely cherry and plum, followed up by violet. Good acidity and tannins paired with a full body. Ripe and jammy from the nose through the palate to the finish. A good value red, new world styling with old world heritage, that will please the crowd. A pleasant match for veal and beef dishes.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This 60% Grenache, 20% Carignan and 20% Syrah opens with raspberry and blackberry on the nose. Generous plummy dark fruit on the palate just bordering on jammy. It is medium-bodied and smooth with fine chalky tannins on the finish. A very approachable and overall enjoyable pour. Good value. Pair with burgers or ribs. Tasted July 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
