Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This little gem has an enticing spicy, floral nose. Subtle notes of sandalwood and cinnamon. The spiciness carries over to the palate. There is a lot going on here while still feeling silky and light to medium weight. Long, lingering finish with a hint of cinnamon. Serve with spicy, creamy pastas or spiced Cornish hen. An intriguing wine with lots of interest and no harsh elements. A good bet to stock up on for summer. Excellent value. Tasted April 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lemon and white peach aromas with floral and hazelnut suggestions, and just a faint hint of grass. Crisp and dry, but not too acidic. Very approachable and easy-drinking with lemon, grapefruit, citrus, and tropical flavours persisting through the finish. Quite nice with great value. Try with fried fish, shellfish, or creamy pasta dishes.
Latium Morini 2017 Soave is great value under $15. Made from 80% Garganega with 20% Trebbiano di Soave, or Verdicchio from the Veneto wine region. Fresh, dry and light-bodied, bright with tropical fruit, pear and lemon zest flavours on the palate. Pair with lemon sole. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
