Canadian winemaker, Tony Stewart, is the proprietor of Lake Sonoma Winery. This Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel is juicy, concentrated and plushy with rich plum compote, dark cherry, chocolate and smoky cinnamon flavours on the palate. Enjoy now and for the next three years. Pair with sticky BBQ pork ribs.

Zinfandel food pairings: herb crusted chicken, roasted lamb, roast breast of veal.

Reviews and Ratings

Dry Creek Valley is known for its dense concentrations of Old Vines Zinfandel. This full-bodied beauty is smoky on the nose with ripe blackberry and vanilla aromas. On the palate, ripe dark cherry, blackberry compote with savoury herbs, dark chocolate and toasty spice flavours on the palate. Pair with a barbequed brisket. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
