Lagar De Codegua Reserva 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is fragrant with black currant and wild herbs. The Cab is somewhat tight right now, so cellar the wine for a few years to have it open up, mellow and start to show its best. Try in 2023.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled steaks, pork roast, beef long ribs.

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The Lagar de Codegua Cabernet Sauvignon 2018, harvested in the Alto Cachapoal region in Chile, shows character and aromas of black cherry, black plum, dried herbs, leather, baking spice, mocha and cedar. Full body, polished tannins and soft acidity, with a structured and fruity finish, the wine will pair well with barbecued red meat. Palate: ripe cherry, dark skin plum, mint, graphite, spice, leather, charcoal and cedar. Enjoy!
Lagar De Codegua Reserva 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is fragrant with dark berry, black tea and dried wild herbs on its full-bodied frame. Tannins are pleasantly chewy. Enjoy with a meat lover's pizza. - Community Wine Reviews
