Toasty, rich, crisp and elegant. Absolute stunner for the money! This Burgundian sparkling wine uses the tradition method or Méthode Traditionnelle of the second fermentation in the bottle, just like its northern neighbour Champagne.

Crémant De Bourgogne food pairings: lightly spiced curry dishes, lamb stew, white turkey meat, tacos.

Reviews and Ratings

Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A very full-bodied, refreshing and tasty cremant indeed. Persistent, fine mousse and quite a deep straw colour. Citrus, apple, toast, brioche and a lovely and lingering nutty-lemon finish. Great value!
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted April 18th at wine club. Very elegant to serve as a palate cleanser before our tasting. Hand picked Pinot noir grapes, straw colour plus, nice mousse. Aromas and flavours of cherry bread, apple, and hints of other fruit flavours. Good value, easy to drink sparkler try it with pastry apitizers.
This is a lovely Crémant de Bourgogne made from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wine grapes. Nice apple, brioche and marzipan nose on this elegant, rich and creamy sparkler made in the traditional method as in the neighbouring Champagne wine region. Great value for a bubble that pairs with everything. - Community Wine Reviews
