This Gavi de Gavi is fragrant on the nose with white florals, ripe yellow apple, lemon-lime zest and nutty aromas. Produced from 100% Cortese wine grapes, vibrant and dry with ripe yellow apple, toasty almond, citrus zest creamy on the palate. Great value under $20. Pair with seafood or chicken Alfredo dishes.

Pinot Noir food pairings: veal medallions, roasted pork loin, roasted and braised lamb, chicken stuffed with asparagus and goat cheese, venison burgers.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A consistently great California Pinot Noir, slightly earthy, with aromas of red cherry and cranberry with hints of violets, dried herbs and leather. Medium bodied, with bright, balancing acidity, ripe berry notes and an herbaceous finish with hints of leather and smoke. Enjoy with duck.
Pradalupo Roero 2018 Gavi di Gavi is produced from 100% Cortese wine grapes for the Piedmont wine region. Light-bodied, dry, creamy and citrus zesty on the palate with ripe yellow apple, fine herb and nutty almond flavours that linger on. Pair with a roast quail and a green grape casserole. - Community Wine Reviews
