A full-bodied, well-rounded, buttery Russian River Chardonnay with soft citrus, fresh-baked croissant and ripe tropical fruit flavours richly layered on the palate. This Chardonnay is barrel-fermented and underwent malolactic fermentation to soften the acids. The wine is aged for 8 months in 30% new French oak barrels prior to bottling.

Reviews and Ratings

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Never failing to please, this Russian river Valley Chardonnay from Sonoma brings tropical fruit and lemon aromas to a well-balanced play between oak and acidity that handily offers lift throughout the palate. This will go well with turkey, poultry or a firm fish served with a rich cream sauce. A very good value wine.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This Chardonnay is a real treat - rich and buttery, sultry and smoky. Full-bodied with lemon tones supported by nice acidity. Lots of oaky notes and texture on the palate as well. Silky, smooth with just enough restraint to qualify for elegant. Serve with your holiday turkey or stuffed rolled ribs. Tasted Nov 22, 2019 www.thewineloverskitchen.com
La Crema Chardonnay 2017 is a full-bodied, well-rounded, buttery Chard from Russian River Valley, California. Great balance and poise on this Chard with good acidity for food. Look for rounded and smooth flavours of. ripe tropical fruit, citrus pudding, baked good and sweet cake spice flavours on the palate. Pair with roast chicken. - Community Wine Reviews
