So pretty and refreshing yet this southern French rose packs a (flavour) punch). Medium to almost full-bodied for rosé. Lovely flavours of summer strawberries and raspberries on the nose of this French rosé. Dry and refreshing. Works as an aperitif or companion to seafood. Finishes with wind-swept lavender and wild herbs. Highly recommended.

Rosé food pairings: salmon steaks, green salads with fresh fruit.

The 2015 Bandol rosé is complex, yet ethereally light with great finesse. The wine finishes with lavender, thyme and more dried herbs de Provence. This wine comes from a long tradition of wine production in Bandol that started when the Greeks colonized the region more than 2,600 years ago. This blend is Grenache, Mourvèdre and Cinsault grapes, all hand-harvested. More than 60% of Bandol wine production is rosé and made dry. Pair with salmon steaks and goat cheese soufflé. - Community Wine Review
