Reviews and Ratings

L.J. Palmer rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A wonderful rose to celebrate summer and the last of the summer wine!Deep pink in colour, with a strawberry and citrus aroma that jumps out of the glass! The wine is made from 100% Xinomavro grapes and is extremely flavourful; strawberry is a prominent flavour. Dry and refreshing; it stands up to smoked salmon and even guacomole!
From the Macedonia wine region, Kir-Yianni Akakies 2018 is an aromatic, dry, bright and juicy rosé made from the Xinomavro red wine grape. Great value under $15. Pair with a green salad topped with feta cheese or olive tapenade. - Community Wine Reviews
