Reviews and Ratings

Carola Price rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Light pale yellow.
A nose of rubber and minerals with some grapefruit.
In the mouth apples and a little fizz to keep it interesting. Not unpleasant.
Light bodied but it comes up a little short on the finish.
Pair it with goat cheese and beet salad or Linguine and clams.

Vidal grapes are grown in the KIN Vineyards and Palmira Vineyards in eastern Ontario, near Ottawa. There's some froth and fizz on the initial pour that settles down in the glass. The winery's understory wines celebrate kitchen ceilidhs and gatherings according to the back label.
Vinified entirely in stainless steel, in an off-dry style, to preserve delicate fruit aromas of white plum, apple and wet stone with an acidity that leaves the palette refreshed. A great wine for summer sipping.
