Reviews and Ratings

Carola Price rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Soft gold, clear and bright.
Butter, oak notes and nuts- reminiscent of a Spanish Fino.
In the mouth it is luscious with buttery notes, again a good use of oak and peaches, raw almond and red apple.
Medium bodied with a delicate balance of alcohol and acidity not overpowering the fruit.
Pair with prosciutto wrapped halibut with butter and sage sauce or lemon pasta.
Drink now to 2 years
The grapes come from Lincoln Lakeshore in Niagara but the winery is located close to Ottawa.
Aged in lightly toasted French oak barrels for 10 months, on lees. From the cooler 2014 vintage, this wine maintains elegance and ageability showing fresh apple, pear, brioche and almond that will evolve gracefully with cellaring.
