Lots of oak on the nose and palate. This robust Californian Chardonnay offers generous aromas and flavours of tropical tree fruit and butterscotch smoke. Pair with roasted chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A worthy medium-bodied Sonoma Chardonnay and a bargain! Juicy lip smacking acidity and attractive peach, yellow apple, honey and faint pineapple flavours linger on the palate. Enoy with grilled ham & pineapple skewers. Tasted July 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous, full bodied, dry, golden and brilliant. Complex aromatics. Buttery, ripe stone fruit, hint of lime zest. Mouthwatering acidity. Pairs well with roast poultry. Tasted 2015 vintage in November 2018. 90 points #greatvalue
From Sonoma County in California Kenwood (2015) is a rich, tropical fruit, smoke and butterscotch (from oak treatment) Chardonnay. Kenwood Vineyards was established in 1970 in the former Pagani Brothers Winery, a historic cellar dating back to 1906. Thoroughly refurbished and modernized, the facility now boasts more than 125 stainless steel fermenting tanks and large oak uprights plus 17,000 small French and American oak barrels for small lot winemaking. Two-thirds of the fruit for this wine comes from the Russian River Valley. - Community Wine Reviews
