Sexy Argentine red wine for sensualists. A rich, deeply concentrated red with blackberry liqueur and blueberry preserve aromas. Smooth and full-bodied. Fantastic for barbecues. This is a red for hedonists and evenings beside a crackling fire.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: prime rib, hearty meat stews, pork tenderloin.

Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This food-friendly Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of blueberry jam, violets, and leather. The dark berries follow through on the palate. The tannins are medium to structured and there's a nice level of acidity. It is a full bodied wine with a slight bitter finish and with flavours that linger on the palate.

This wine would pair nicely with braised or roasted beef.

Kaiken Ultra Leyenda (2015) is a rich and deep red Argentinean Cabernet Sauvignon from the Mendoza wine region. Great value under $20., this is a smooth and full-bodied red made for barbeques. Drink now with grilled meats, or hold for three years. - Community Wine Reviews
