What a luxuriously mouth-filling wine! Fleshy black plums and berries tumble over your palate in a river of pleasure that keeps on going right through the finish. This is truly liquid plush.

Syrah food pairings: prime rib, roast beef, grilled pork chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby with a purple hue. 12.6 % ABV declared. Freshly cut wood, tart red berry, forest floor, peppery. The 2013 vintage is a robust young Syrah which has a prominent wood character. Pair with pepper steak or Cantonese beef and blackbean sauce. 87 points
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Meaty smoky and peppery is not something I am typically drawn but it is interesting, to say the least. A full-bodied peppery Niagara Peninsula Syrah with mild black fruit flavours, prominent minerality, and cracked pepper flavours, and a long spicy finish. Enjoy with peppery steak kebabs.
