Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Amazing value for a great quality wine, the Jean-Pierre Moueix 2016 reveals a lovely bouquet of fruitcake, dark cherry, mint, charcoal, baking spices, caramel and cedar. Made from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, this Bordeaux wine shows a medium body, steely acidity and a sharp edged finish. Palate: tart plum, blueberry, bay leaf, dill and cedar. Enjoy.
From Bordeaux's right bank a fragrant and elegant blend of mostly Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Love the summer-kissed strawberries, spiced plum, bright raspberry and savoury herb flavours on the palate. Great acidity for food. Enjoy with a rich roast duck, goose, or rich roast of pork. - Community Wine Reviews
