Natalie's Score: 91/100

Terrific aromas of black cherry and pepper on the nose. The palate is fleshy and rich and mouth-filling. Don't confuse this wine with Beaujolais nouveau: there's far more depth and complexity here. Perfect for movie night. Lots of mouth-watering acidity for a wide range of dishes from salmon to roast chicken and turkey.

Gamay food pairings: turkey, hamburgers, pizza.

Lovely red briar and cherry fruit with game, herbs and grape must. I'm 91 on this. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
From wine producer, Georges Duboeuf, this 2014 Beaujolais from Morgon in the Burgundy wine growing region is full off ripe black cherry and pepper on the nose, rich and mouth-filling on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
