Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Still looking for a fun sparkling wine to celebrate the New Year, or do you need something on hand for drop-in, well-wishers tonight? There is still time to pick up this fresh and fruity, light, modern Cava -- wonderful on its own it will also go with roasted nuts, stollen or fruitcake. Light citrus and brioche on the nose, it exhibits the same lingering freshness on the palate with a gentle apricot and apple finish. It's also light on the pocket book. Enjoy responsibly, and all the best for the New Year!
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Cristalino is always a solid go-to Cava. This brut is round, slightly yeasty and shows citrus aromas that veer toward lemon-lime. The palate is healthy and clean, with a narrow set of citrus and apple flavors.

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Cristalino est toujours un Cava fiable. Ce brut est rond, avec une légcre touche de levure et des arômes d’agrumes qui penchent vers le citron-lime. Le palais est sain et net avec un ensemble précis de saveurs d’agrumes et de pommes.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
