Caramel and toffee from lavish oak aging. Richly balanced and developed Chardonnay with a creamy texture and lovely green apple notes. Buttery hazelnuts on the finish. Oh yum! A mouth-filling, luxurious Chardonnay from J. Lohr's Painter Bridge label. Pair with roast chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: roast chicken, creamy pasta sauce dishes, grilled fish, beef bourguignon.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

A delicious and delightful Chardonnay from California's Monterey County, buttery with tropical fruit aromatics and a luscious palate giving butterscotch, tropical fruit, citrus lemon and slight oak with a long buttered finish. Silky, sensuous and unforgettable!
The Chardonnay grapes from J. Lohr's Arroyo Vista label are grown on vines planted in gravelly soils in the cool, windy appellation of Monterrey County and hand-harvested at night. The wine is both barrel fermented and aged. Pair with chicken with paprika. Pair with roast chicken. - Community Wine Reviews
