Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

With Spring around the corner, I'm drinking more Rosé and this is my latest happy Rosé discovery. Bright sunset orange/pink colour. Semi-dry with fresh blackberry aromas, mainly blackberry and plum on palate. The fine acidity really takes this up a notch and makes it very food-friendly. Pair with savoury appetizers...black olive tapenade, chorizo salami, hard cheeses... Mediterranean fare.
Excellent quality at this price point, so I'll trot right back to buy this again soon!
Tasted March 2020.
L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A fresh and juicy off dry rosé made from a blend of Agiorgitiko and Syrah grapes grown at high altitude. Vibrant salmon pink colour with pronounced juicy aroma of juicy strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, and a smidgen of spice (white pepper). Full flavour in the mouth of fresh strawberry, raspberry, and pineapple. Weighty enough for smoked salmon and would be wonderful with fresh fruit. Summer is coming; this full flavoured juicy rosé would be a great accompaniment to the season.
From the Peloponnese wine region, Irida 2018 is a Agiorgitiko and Syrah rosé wine blend sourced from vineyards between 450 and 500 metres above sea level. Juicy with bright and fresh fruity flavours of vibrant cherry, strawberry and raspberry with a smattering of what pepper on the finish. Chill and enjoy with tzatziki and lamb kebabs. - Community Wine Reviews
