Mark Cochrane Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Some good reserva wines coming out of Spain these days and this is one of them. A dry Tempranillo with aromas of cherry, leather and black pepper. It has a long cherry finish with some refined tannins. A wine this good aged 12 months in American oak for under $12 is a good value.
Travis Oke rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

At under $12 I think I may have found my memories of Spain. This is a good Reserva wine. A little grapey maybe on the finish but the tannins are dry with a little edge. This may be my HOUSE WINE this year.
Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This is great value in a Spanish wine. With lots of jammy fruit flavours and a hint of spice, this is a very good wine for the money

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
