Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Scrumptious green apple, yellow plum, graphite and mineral notes. Zesty and vibrant bubbles that dance away. Acidity is medium plus with a lively textured mouthfeel. Soft elements of salty stones lingering engagingly at the end with a hint of herbaceous lemongrass on the finish. This is good as an aperitif or to pair with something light, salty and crispy. Ham, soft cheeses, olives, salted nuts or even potato chips! 90 points.
Hola! Brut is a great value under $20 Spanish Cava from the Penedès wine region produced from 30% Macabeo, 40% Xarello, 30% Parellada. Soft green apple and citrus characters show on this harmonious nose. The palate is textured with baked apple pie notes, white fruits and clean citrus, ensuring a fresh and mouth-watering finish. Score - 92 (Decanter World Wine Awards, 2016). - Community Wine Reviews
