A full-bodied and balanced Cabernet Sauvignon from one of Washington's most respected wineries. Lots of dark fruit and toasty oak. Pair with a rare steak.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: garlic lemon marinated beef long ribs grilled on the barbie, slow-cooked beef brisket, sautéed wild mushrooms over toast.

Reviews and Ratings

Cherie Cole rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

What I like about this Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington State is its elegance. There is structure amongst the aroma and flavour that makes it enjoyable - Dark cherry, clove and oak. Full-bodied with great acidity. An excellent choice for grilled red meat. Tasted April 3, 2016.
The Columbia Valley is the heart of Washington State's wine production, with top-notch producers winning international respect. There is a great deal of diversity in mesoclimates and sub-regions. The 2013 vintage of Genesis willis made from grapes grown in vineyards planted in the warm climate of Horse Heaven Hills and Wahluke Slope as well as the cooler region of Yakima Valley. - Community Wine Review

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
