A richly layered, full-bodied BC blend of Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Syrah grapes. Aromas of fleshy ripe black plum and dark berries. Pair with grilled lamb. Some espresso and spice on the finish. Great cellar wine but also enjoyable now.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Plum, mocha, cedar, and spicy red pepper. Medium plus body. Decanted 2h. Paired well with charcuterie. Tasted 2016 vintage in Dec 2017. Great value. Accessibly priced. Crowd pleasing appeal. A great option for seasonal gatherings with red lovers. 89 points.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

An interesting full-bodied meaty and smoky Okanagan blend of Syrah, Malbec and Petit Verdot grapes. Aromas and flavours are clean and pronounced showcasing notes of black plum, leather, smoke and a mild red bell pepper note. Tannins are mild and acidity a touch too thin for my preference. Enjoy with roasted lamb shanks. Tasted Dec 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
