This lemon-fresh zesty Sancerre white wine is sourced from grapes grown in a single vineyard in soils of limestone and flint. Lots of minerality and a core of racy acidity. Medium-bodied and mouth-watering with happy notes of citrus, green apple and lime zest lift. Bring it!

Sancerre food pairings: seafood tapas, steamed shellfish, grilled seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Lots of minerality and quite truthfully a wine that is still developing with hints of citrus, stone, a race acidity and a subtle citrus finish.
Henri Bourgeois' La Chapelle Des Augustins (2014) is a zesty, fresh and mouth-watering Sancerre from the Loire wine region This wine was aged "sur lie" (on its lees). Pair with lentils and goat cheese. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
