Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The Pinot Noir wine grapes for this wine were grown on the Secrest Mountain Vineyard, a 35-acre cool-climate vineyard high above the town of Oliver in British Columbia. The winery’s philosophy is “less is more” when making their wines and this Pinot Noir was produced using wild yeasts and was fermented and aged in concrete tank prior to bottling. This is a smooth PN, dry and zesty with fresh, red and blueberry fruit, cake spice and earthy blue floral flavours on the palate. Vey approachable, it can be had on its own and would also do well with salmon steaks on the grill.

Haywire wines are made at Christine Coletta and Steve Lornie’s state of the art winery, Okanagan Crush Pad in Summerland, British Columbia and produced by winemaker, Matt Dumayne with consulting winemaker Alberto Antonini.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
