Reviews and Ratings

Superb for the money! Floral, fragrant and aromatic but not over the top. White peach blossom and apple bloom. Finishes with stone fruit. Lovely! MINE: This Viognier from the Pays d'Oc is ripe peach compote, pink grapefruit and soft orange on the nose and palate. Guillaume Aurèle (2015) is great value with this warm sunny wine from the south of France. Pair with roast chicken or chill and enjoy this patio sipper. OTHER: Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review: Medium lemon colour. Super floral and fragrant. Honeysuckle, orchids, honey, peaches, ripe apricots and pears. Flavours really evolve with perfumes floral notes, delicious apples and fragranced soap elements. Also some tart and sweet pink grapefruit. Medium plus acidity, medium body and finish. Fragrantly fun and fresh. OTHER: Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review: Beautiful, fragrant and balanced. Dried apricots, ripe peach, mandarin orange zest, orange blossom. Zesty and mouth-watering. Paired well with Asian chicken stir fry. Tasted 2015 vintage in Oct 2017. 89 points. OTHER: Made from fruit grown in three oceanside villages in the sunny South of France, this has awesome peach and honey lifted by bright, crisp acidity. Just the thing for seafood nibbles or grilled chicken. (Vintages panel, Feb. 2018). - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
