Reviews and Ratings

Philippe Perreault, Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This sparklins is made of Pinot Noir Only.

The color is pink salmon.

Aromas of raspberry, strawberry and toasted bread.

This wine is medium long on the palate and the acidity is light.

Take it on its own.
Serve it at 5-6 degrees.
Ready to drink now.
Gruet Sparkling Rosé Brut is made in the Traditional Method and is produced from 100% Pinot Noir from vines planted at 1,310 metres above sea level. Incredibly fresh with bright red berry, strawberry, cinnamon spice and fine herb flavours finishing long and balanced on the palate. The Gruet family have been making wines in Champagne since 1952. - Community Wine Reviews

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
