Reviews and Ratings

Lise Charest Gagne rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A medium plus plus body red garnet blend of Cabernet and Merlot from the Okanagan Valley in BC. The juice from this wine went through malolactic fermentation for 2 to 3 weeks and was aged in American and French oak for 12 months. Aromas of dark ripe red stone fruit, red cherry vanilla licorice and toasted cedar were surprisingly potent. This wine exhibits a smooth texture notorious with Merlot with flavors of black currant jelly and rich fig vanilla fruitcake. The finish is bright with good acidity, smoke and lightly charred jalapeno. I’m smitten with this wine, I would enjoy this pretty much anywhere on any given day.
Gray Monk Estate Winery was founded in 1972 and is one of the pioneering winery estates in British Columbia winemaking. The family winery was one of the first to plant Pinot-Gris vines in B.C. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
