Lovely! You need to acquire a taste for sherry, but it's a lovely change from the usual. Nutty, warm aromas of roasted almonds and hazelnuts. It offers terrific balance with acidity. Try this well-priced sherry as an after dinner drink.

Sherry food pairings: cheese, nuts, tapas.

Reviews and Ratings

Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dark Amber in colour with aromas of nuts, dried fruits and caramel. On the palate there are flavours of orange, cloves, raisins and nuts. This is a good introductory sherry if you are not used to sherry. It has some sweetness to it but it is not overpowering but at 20% don't go overboard. This will pair nicely with cheese, fruits, nuts and goes really nicely with cheese cake. Tasted on March 19, 2017.
You need to acquire a taste for sherry, but it's a lovely change from the usual. Dried fruit, toasty nut, citrus zest and Christmas cake spice. This is a perfect semi-sweet warmer on a cold winter night. Pair with hard cheese and nuts. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
