Gloria's Reserva from Douro is a fresh, full-bodied red wine blending Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional with notes of iris, mulberry, cassis and dried oregano. This dry wine displays rounded texture and sweet spice finish that will continue to develop over the next four years. Serve it at room temperature with slow-braised brisket as the wine's fruity character complements the rich meat, or pair it with grilled rack of lamb where the wine's structure stands up to the charred flavors. Winemaker Vicente Faria crafts this nicely done Reserva with layers of toasted vanilla complexity while preserving the wine's vibrant fruit expression. Gloria represents exceptional quality from Portugal's premier Douro Valley, showcasing indigenous varieties at accessible prices. This great-value red represents outstanding quality and will drink beautifully through 2030.

Food pairings: slow-braised brisket, roast goose, grilled rack of lamb.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
