Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This one to decant! Loads of dried fruits, figs and prunes. Aromas consist of cigar boxes, vanilla and cherry brandy. Incredibly deep coloured. Flavours are very rich, echoing much of the nose with the addition of tomato, cassis, red berry compote and menthol. Medium plus acidity and body with lingering grippy tannins. An excellent pair for veal parmigiana. 88 points January 2018
From the Sardinia wine region. Giovanu's Cannonau di Sardegna (2014) was a Gold Medal winner at Mundus Vini 2016. "Cannonau" is the Sardinian name for the Grenache wine grape. Look for cherry, blackberry and savoury spice flavours wrapped up in a smoky veil on this Cannonau. Pair with roasted root vegetable stew or stuffed Portobello mushrooms. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
