Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A Cab Sauv blend made from grapes sourced from both Sonoma County and Napa Valley. Aromas of blackberry, dark cherry, vanilla and slight smoke. Palate gives dark berry fruit, vanilla and smoke. Dry, smooth, well-balanced.
Tasted July 2016
This Napa Valley and Sonoma County Cabernet from Ghost Pines has the full-body and structure the Napa Valley can produce in its wines and the smoothness and elegance for which Sonoma wines are known. A deep-ruby wine with 65% of the Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma County and the balance from Napa Valley, the wine is fresh blackberry, black currants, olives and mint on the palate with a lingering dried tea finish. This wine is so named for the grey pines that have a ghostlike appearance along the coastal valley at dusk. - Community Wine Reviews
