Reviews and Ratings

Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

A full-throttle, fully oaked Cali Chard. Loads of toffey-butterscotch and spiced pear; ultra-creamy mouthfeel, buttery vanilla, baking spice and poached pear on the palate. Moderate acidity helps cut through the thick, cloying palate. Perfect with popcorn!
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 80/100 with the following review:

A decent California Chardonnay…
Presentation: An interesting label with a tinge of Gothic to it
Appearance: Clear, pale to medium, gold colour
Nose: Clean, medium nose with notes of lemons, pears, honey
Taste: Dry, medium body, high acidity, low tannins, notes of popcorn, lemons, pears, melon
Finish: Long finish, with enduring popcorn notes
Overall impression: A good Californian Chardonnay, still a little strong on the toast/popcorn, but should pair well with vegetable and chicken dishes.
Value: 2.5/5
