Form the Pays D'oc, Languedoc wine region, Gérard Bertrand Côte Des Roses 2022 Pinot Noir is a great value PN at $20. Southern France is not a typical wine-growing region for Pinot Noir, but this one is silky and ample with ripe raspberry, cherry, wild herb and well-integrated oak spice flavours vibrant and lingering on the palate. Enjoy it with post turkey day, turkey sandwiches. The rose-shaped base on this bottle was designed by a student at the famed École Boulle, in Paris.

Pinot Noir food pairings: roast leg of lamb, veal roast, roast turkey.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A light and fresh Pinot Noir, with aromas of ripe strawberry, cranberry, and red cherry. Medium bodied on the palate with bright acidity and slight tannins, and juicy, tart berry notes. Enjoy with turkey, pork, or salmon.
