From Gérard Bertrand Côte des Roses 2019 Chardonnay is a great value white wine under $20 from the Languedoc wine region. Floral on the nose with racy acidity on the palate, this is a dry, medium-bodied Chardonnay with white petal florals, bright stone fruit and soft citrus flavours. Chill and enjoy

Chardonnay food pairings: seafood salad, chilled prawns with strawberry champagne dressing, seafood ceviche.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a lovely Chardonnay with lots of golden apple and pear along with a hint of white florals. Medium bodied on the palate, smooth with a soft, creamy texture, and lots of bright apple and pear flavours. Very pretty, balanced and flavourful. Enjoy with rich seafood dishes or roasted chicken.
