Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Lovely! Aromas of black currant, raspberry and plum, along with hints of mocha, smoke and warm spice. Full bodied, smooth with medium tannins that mellow out with some decanting. Fruit on the palate is ripe and plush, with a slightly floral hint along with more mocha and smoky notes on the finish. Enjoy with prime rib roast.
Produced by Gina Gallo, Gallo Signature Series 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is earthy on the nose with violets, black cherry, flinty and cedar spice aromas with ripe cherry, cassis, blueberry, cedar spice and toasty, smoky oak spice flavours on the palate. Pour with prime rib. - Community Wine Reviews
