Campfire smoke and lemon zest. Medium-bodied with vibrant acidity. An acquired taste, but one worth acquiring.

Reviews and Ratings

Neil Phillips rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Nose reminiscent of Chablis, with added cremini mushrooms, flint, almost a burnt lemon zest.

Medium-plus acid, lemon on the palate with under-ripe whit peach. Long, austere finish.

Complex with lots going on.

Updated September 2018:
A few years on, sulphur and cold cream still evident on the nose - along with lemon juice, lime zest, under-ripe white peach.

On the palate, racy acidity, grapefruit, mineral and slight brine. An almost tannic bite, stone fruit and pit. Chewy mid-palate, this has a fair amount of body. Moved from 90 to 91. :-)
This winery is one of Greece's most reputable white wine producers, and it shows in this bottle. - Community Wine Reviews
