Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This Châteauneuf-Du-Pape opens with inviting dried raspberry on the nose and a rich, silky, smooth palate. Dried fruit carries over and it winds up with grippy tannins on the finish. A bit hot on the nose and palate but otherwise full-bodied and smooth. This will star beside a rack of lamb or beef tenderloin. Tasted Aug 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Dark Garnet in colour and very opaque. Lots of spices, herbs, and pepper on the nose incorporated with the sweetness of red currant and blueberry jam. Full bodied and rich with mouth-coating silky tannins that linger on the palate and create a very long finish. Quite delicious and intriguing - a good choice for CDP lovers!
From the Rhône wine region, Gabriel Meffre Laurus 2015 Châteauneuf-Du-Pape is a lush and smooth red wine blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah. Love the dark cherry, plum, blueberry and anise flavours on this sensuous full-bodied red. Tannins are liquid velvet. Enjoy now. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
