Reviews and Ratings

Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A beautifully soft and easy drinking red full of black fruit and violets as well as freshly cracked pepper. No need to age this, just drink it, the tannins are gentle and inviting. Try with gnocchi and burnt sage butter with crispy parma ham @wrightwineblog
François Villard's L'appel Des Sereines 2016 Syrah is fantastic value under $20. Love the earthy blue florals, ripe cherry, plum, flinty and peppery nose on this medium-plus-bodied, beautifully balanced Rhone red and a perfect pairing to a grilled bavette steak. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
