Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A consumer favorite the award winning Francis Ford Coppola Diamond Collection Claret 2015 offers lovely flavors of blackberry, cherry, dried herbs, chocolate and coffee. Claret (a named coined by the British) is a term used to describe Cabernet Sauvignon based wine blended in the classic Bordeaux style. The blend in this wine is Cabernet Sauvignon (76%), Petit Verdot (16%), Cabernet Franc (4%) and Merlot (4%). The tannins are smooth and well integrated with a lengthy finish. Tasted November 2017.
Francis Ford Coppola Diamond Collection (2015) is an easy-to-enjoy Cabernet from California's Sonoma Valley. "Claret" was a term originally used to identify the wines of Bordeaux. The Bordeaux blend in this wine is 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Merlot. The wine spent 12 months in French oak. Look for ripe, red cherry, blackberry, plum and a touch of smoke on this elegant and well structured red wine. Pair with rosemary, garlic lamb chops. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
