Reviews and Ratings

Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Pure elegance and power rolled into a glass full of fresh plums, black fruits and baking spice. Lovely oaking adds weight to the palate and firmness to the tannins and creates a long balanced finish that smells moreishly of freshly roasted lamb. Made from organically grown grapes. Try with lamb shank pie. @wrightwineblog
Fontodi 2015 Chianti Classico is produced from 100% Sangiovese from organically grown grapes sourced from the Tuscany wine region. Red cherry and dark berry fruit are bright and fragrant on the nose, dry, with bright plum, raspberry, fresh herbs flavours finishing with orange zest on the palate. Enjoy with a Margherita pizza. - Community Wine Reviews
