Flat Rock Cellars Unite 2023, Niagara Peninsula, Canada is a vibrant and expressive white blend offering aromas of peach, green apple, and lemon zest, layered with delicate floral and mineral notes. It’s medium-bodied, dry, and refreshing on the palate, with crisp acidity, a smooth texture, and 12.5% alcohol creating an easy-drinking, balanced style. Serve it well-chilled to highlight its bright fruit and lively energy. Fascinating fact: Winemaker David Sheppard crafts Unite as a symbol of harmony—bringing together multiple grape varieties from Flat Rock’s sustainably farmed estate vineyards to celebrate the unity of flavours, people, and place. Best enjoyed within 2–3 years for its pure, zesty freshness.

Unite food pairings: grilled lemon-garlic shrimp, where the wine’s citrus and minerality complement the seafood’s sweetness. Or enjoy it with a caprese salad, where its crisp acidity and fruit balance the creamy mozzarella and ripe tomato.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This fun project plays on an unexpected blend of 73% Pinot Noir and 27% Chardonnay. Medium bodied, with bright cherry and raspberry notes, with hints of golden apple, along with a warm spicy hint. Light tannins on the palate along with medium+ acidity, and really bright berry flavours on the palate. I feel like the underpinning Chardonnay is punching up the berry notes, but providing a warm, spicy foundation for the wine. Lovely! Enjoy with cedar-planked salmon.
