Vintages Wine Panel: Near-perfect conditions in September and October made the 2006 vintage one for the record books in Oregon, and this well-priced Pinot is consistently one of the state's best values. Truly representational, the fruit is sourced from the Willamette, Umpqua, Rogue and Walla Walla Valleys. This is a plush and juicy wine brimming with soft black cherry and raspberry fruit balanced by a bright seam of acidity and a hint of oak. My note: A consistently good producer of delicious medium-bodied pinots packed with ripe cherries.

Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled lamb chops, roast veal, roast duck.

Reviews and Ratings

Gwen Barton rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

On the lighter side- but this Pinot did not disappoint! Lovely and bright with fresh cherry and dark spice notes. Some leather and smokey nuances. Ready to open and enjoy. Pair with truffle infused cheese. Tasted Feb 2018
This Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley in Oregon was harvested early in the season with budbreak happening the earliest in 25 years. Firesteed 2014 is a vibrant, ripe red cherry, savoury spice and earthy flower flavours on the palate. Pair with mushroom anything. - Community Wine Reviews
