Reviews and Ratings

Besaya Crianza 2015 is a well-priced, full-bodied and juicy 100% Tempranillo with grapes sourced from high altitude vineyards between 300 and 650 metres above sea level. The wine was fermented in controlled-temperature stainless steel tanks and aged 18 months in French and American medium-toast oak barrels. Deep ruby red with violet hues in the glass, the nose is fruity and rich with ripe dark and red berry fruit and oak spice aromas. Lush and layered on the palate with blackberry, cherry, smoky vanilla and oak spice flavours. Pair with bison burgers. This vintage was awarded Gold, 2018 Berliner Wein Trophy - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
